Sire: Never So Lucky (Gray)
He was AQHA & FQHR registered and owned by Wyoming Blanton Enterprise known for raising top notch Blanton bred horses. They retained several of his daughters in their broodmare band. Never So Lucky was extremely athletic and he passed this trait onto his foals. He was a versatile athlete himself and a proven producer of roping and rodeo horses. He accumulated National FQHR points in Handy Ranch Horse, Western Riding, Working Ranch Horse, and Pole Bending.

Kwik Cat Blanton – Never So Lucky daughter owned by Wyoming Blanton Enterprises produced Skoal Bandit Blanton (their stallion and top rodeo horse) and Blantons Fiddler (rope horse).

Dam: Sabre Ace Lady (Bay)
She carries the blood of the three great mares Dixie Beach, Lady Coolidge and Little Sue, and we consider ourselves truly blessed to own this outstanding mare. She has been a tremendous producer for us. Sabre Ace is the dam of herd sires Point De Loup (deceased), Ace High N Lucky and Steel Your Money. She has also produced two daughters for us and we can hardly wait to see what they will produce. Stallions usually come to mind when the word prepotency is mentioned, however broodmares can also display this quality and this mare is definitely prepotent.

Grandsire: Blue Blanton (Gray)
He was Spencer Childers main rope horse. He sired two AQHA Performance horses and one AQHA Race ROM earner.

Granddam: Snippy Miss (Sorrel)
She produced two AQHA Performance horses with a total of 35 points in AQHA Open and Youth competition.

Grandsire: Dudes Saber Jet (Sorrel)
He sired AQHA Performance point earners (170.5 pts.) in Open, Amateur and Youth competition. He had one Open Performance ROM, one Amateur Performance ROM and one Open Superior Performance horse.

Two Eyed Double Dude:
1990 Open Performance ROM and Amateur Performance ROM
1990 Open High Point Pole Bending Mare
1994 Open Superior Pole Bending and Open SR Barrel Racing World Show Qualifier

Great-Grand Sire: Lucky Blanton (Chestnut)
He was sired by a top rope horse, was an outstanding rope horse himself, and was “the rope horse sire”, siring rope horses deluxe. Lucky Blanton sired more top rope horses than any other horse of his time. He was Tom Mattart’s rodeo mount for six years, competing in calf roping, heading, heeling, steer roping and an occasional match race. He was known for his dense bone, smooth muscling, powerful hindquarters, wonderful disposition and his prepotency to pass these traits onto his offspring. Lucky Blanton offspring were used primarily on the ranch or in the rodeo arena, however a few were shown accumulating three AQHA Race ROM’s, one Superior Race Award, 19 Halter points and 9 Performance points. He was also a successful broodmare sire and his daughters have produced many AQHA Champions, AAA race horses, Superior Halter horses, and Reined Cow Horse Champions. Many of the best ropers today are still riding Lucky Blanton bred horses.

Great-Grand Sire: Nevada King (Chestnut)
He sired one AQHA Race ROM, 8 Performance ROM’s, 5 AQHA Champions and one Superior Halter horse.

Great-Grand Sire: Blondy’s Dude (Sorrel)
He was a NCHA money earner, AQHA Hall Of Fame Horse, AQHA Champion and achieved his Performance ROM. He was Grand Champion Stallion at the acclaimed Fort Worth Stock Show in 1962 and went on to stand Grand 18 times in his show career. In the performance arena he was know for his great lead changes and pretty stops. Blondy’s Dude was easy to train and had a very willing attitude according to his owner, Morgan Freeman. His foals have won 31 Superior Performance Awards and 11 Superior Halter Awards. He is the sire of one Youth Supreme Champion and five Open and Youth World Championships. His foals also have NCHA earnings of $21,722. He became a leading sire of AQHA Champions (30), a leading maternal grandsire of AQHA Champions (26) and a leading sire of ROM horses (130).

Great-Grand Sire: Harlander (Bay)
He sired AQHA Halter and Performance point earners (961.5 points) in Open, Amateur and Youth competition. He also sired 4 AQHA Champions, 13 Performance ROM earners and 4 Superior Performance horses.
Ace has been bred lightly and we currently only have a half dozen foals by him. His first five foals were all fillies and he produced his first stud in 2006 out of a double bred Jet Deck mare. We plan to start two of his fillies this spring and hope they will ride as well as their sire and have his wonderful disposition.
